Deborah M.Stone, President

As principal of Pineapple Public Relations, Deborah develops and executes strategic public relations campaigns for agency clients and provides direction for the company as well as the account management team. She opened Pineapple Public Relations in 1995 after working in both the travel industry directly and for a boutique agency where she developed and serviced a growing retail, and tour and travel niche.

A media relations specialist, Deborah had successfully launched public relations campaigns for clients in the hospitality, travel, culinary and retail industries. Her polished media skills and strong working relationships have produced notable publicity results, including segments on the Today Show, Good Morning America, ABC, NBC, and CBS-affiliate news programs, and placements in national travel, hospitality and lifestyle magazines as well as numerous local, regional and national daily publications. With nearly two decades of experience in travel marketing, Deborah is a results-oriented professional.

In addition to media relations, Deborah is an accomplished writer and has written and produced press kits, newsletters and all manner of marketing materials. Deborah possesses a flair for community relations and has researched and involved clients in beneficial community activities. She has efficiently planned and directed special events for up to 500 persons.

Before opening Pineapple Public Relations, Deborah worked as an account supervisor at a locally-owned boutique PR agency where she supervised work for Hotel Nikko Atlanta, The Inn at Blackberry Farm, Tiffany & Co., and others. Deborah also created and implemented marketing and promotional campaigns for Connections, an Atlanta destination marketing firm. Prior to this, Deborah assisted with the planning and promotion of the Atlanta Dogwood Festival, including program design, newsletter writing and volunteer recruitment. Deborah has also assisted the public relations efforts of several local non-profit organizations, including The Atlanta Hawks Foundation and Friends of the Atlanta Opera.

Deborah graduated from Clemson University in 1984 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English. In 1990, she received a Master of Communication degree, with an emphasis in public relations, from Georgia State University. Deborah has served on the Restaurant Committee of the Atlanta Convention and Visitors Bureau and is currently the Co-Chairman and founder of the Travel and Tourism Group of the Public Relations Society of America, Georgia Chapter.


Jennifer Nowicki, Senior Account Executive

Jennifer Nowicki holds a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences Degree from Georgia State University and was a Public Relations major. She has more than 10 years experience within the public relations and marketing fields. Before coming on board with Pineapple Public Relations, Jennifer was employed by The Fluid Group as an Account Director for nearly three years where she was responsible for clients that included Georgia State Parks, Historic Sites & Lodges, the Hiawassee Festival of Arts, the Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds and The Georgian Terrace Hotel. Her work for Georgia State Parks' 75th Anniversary campaign generated over $3 million in publicity placements. Jennifer is the account supervisor for Augusta Convention & Visitors Bureau, The Partridge Inn, and High Hampton Inn.

Prior to this position, Jennifer was responsible for providing in-house marketing and public relations support for the Buckhead Area Transportation Management Association (BATMA). In addition, she headed up the Public Relations departments at two local agencies, supporting clients that included NASCAR, Frito-Lay and Seagram Americas.


Inga Marone, Account Executive

A graduate from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations and a minor in French, Inga brings creativity, hard work and dedication to Pineapple Public Relations. She provides clients with a variety of public relations services including writing, media relations, marketing, strategic planning, and event planning. Her implementation of strategic public relations tactics have resulted in exposure for her clients in numerous Southeastern trade and lifestyle publications such as Marquee Magazine, Southern Distinction, Charlotte Magazine, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Meetings South, and Convention Forum. Her current client roster includes Ariccia Trattoria & Bar and The Hotel at Auburn University, Daufuskie Island Resort & Breathe Spa, and High Hampton Inn & Country Club.

Inga is also a member of the Public Relations Society of America and is on the planning committee for the Travel and Tourism Special Interest Group, Georgia chapter.


Melissa Webb, Account Executive

A graduate from Georgia Southern University with a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations and Communications, Melissa is the newest member of the Pineapple Public Relations team. Starting at Pineapple Public Relations as an intern, Melissa found a home as an Account Executive. She provides clients with a variety of public relations services including media list development, media relations, writing, event planning, strategic planning and publicity management. Her current clients include Daufuskie Island Resort & Breathe Spa, High Hampton Inn & Country Club and The Partridge Inn.


Mary Huff, Senior Media Relations Specialist

Mary brings to Pineapple Public Relations more than 25 years of experience in public relations and marketing communications. She is experienced in developing and executing campaigns in the areas of new product/property introductions, brand positioning, strategic alliances, events and community affairs, media relations and writing. At large and small PR agencies in New York and Atlanta, she generated local, regional and national media coverage for Ted's Montana Grill and Benihana of Tokyo, Good Humor Ice Cream, Share our Strength's Taste of Atlanta, The Irish Export Board, Viking Range Corporation, the Viking Culinary Arts Centers and Irish Distillers. Previously, Mary spent seven years at Fleishman-Hillard International Communications, one of the world's largest and most respected PR agencies, where she served as lead media relations expert and writer in the Atlanta office.

Her current client roster includes Big Steaks Management A Ruth's Chris Steak House Franchisee.
